Max Companion: status and connection

What it does

It's the app on your PC that transcribes, reframes and exports. At the top, the indicator shows Companion when it's connected and Companion off when it isn't; one click retries the connection.

When to use it

Whenever you work with video: without the Companion (or the Android app), the heavy work doesn't run.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't upload your originals: it works with the files on your drive.

What it needs

Install it once from Download and keep it open. Every PC running the Companion shows up automatically in My devices (Workers in the bar).
