Transcription runs on your own PC, so its speed depends on your hardware and on the length of the video.
- With an NVIDIA graphics card it's 5 to 10 times faster. If you have one and don't notice a difference, check the GPU package in Settings → Transcription; after installing it, restart the Companion.
- Without an NVIDIA card it still works, on the processor: slower, but on any PC with 8 GB of RAM.
- In Transcription you can have Max test one minute of your audio and tell you how long an hour of video would take on your PC.
If it got stuck, check that the Companion is still open and that the PC hasn't gone to sleep; then transcribe again.
