Auto Reframe 9:16

What it does

Analyzes the image and moves the frame to follow the subject when you go from 16:9 to 9:16. Pick 9:16 above the viewer and launch it from the Frames tab; while it works you'll see Analyzing in the Companion.

When to use it

For TikTok, Reels or Shorts clips cut from a horizontal video.

What it doesn't do

It doesn't override your own adjustments: manual keyframes always win. To run it again, Re-analyze framing lets you choose which sections to redo.

What it needs

The Companion running (or a remote PC). Standard reframing doesn't use AI; the advanced mode with OpenAI vision is optional and only runs if you turn it on.
